Juice by Ocean Pacific

If there was ever a fragrance that Marissa Cooper from The O.C. would have worn it was this. Juice launched in 2001 right before the surge of iconic California-based teen shows of the early aughts. Every bitch who wanted to be like Lauren Conrad with her dumb oversized Chanel bag, or Rachel Bilson and her decorative belly button sticker, also longed for a piece of the West Coast in fragrant form. This was for the girl who sported a tight Roxy t-shirt from the local PacSun paired with low slung cargo pants. A girl who’s “naturally sporty” but also loves long walks on the beach. She’s wearing the iconic yellow LiveStrong rubber bracelet, but she can’t remember why besides social suicide if she didn’t. She’s on a couple of sports teams and the sweat gives her acne on her jawline so she ordered Proactiv after seeing a Jessica Simpson testimonial for it on MTV. It’s not working but the burning sensation feels like penance for being imperfect. She has dreams of leaving the midwest and heading to Orange County in gauchos and flip flops. This perfume will take her there.

Notes include fresh freesia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, sweet apple blossom and wild cyclamen. In real life you will smell like a freshly washed lace-trimmed cami blended with Thermasilk shampoo. Best coast?
