Remember my roundup of I Made Out in a European Church scent ideas? This would 100% have made that list had I sniffed prior. When I wear this I feel like every nunsploitation movie combined plus some Ms. 45 mixed in. It’s meant to smell quite literally of an old chapel of a Cistercian abbey. Convents, religious oppression, sexual repression, white lillies, oh my! If you want to feel ritualistic as fuq during these trying times I highly recommend picking up a bottle of Relique D’ Amour. I’m not religious but did y’all know that one of the three gifts for lil’ squirt bb Jesus was myrrh—well that’s also in this beautiful perfume.

Other notes include fresh herbs, pine, powder, white lily, pepper, oak, incense, musk, moss, waxed wood, and elemi. You will quite literally (I’m not kidding) smell like light through stained glass feeling a burst of nostalgia as incense trickles across cold stone.
