Basenote Bitch
Fizzy By Alyssa Ashley

Fizzy By Alyssa Ashley

It’s 2005 and you’ve scared yourself shitless reading Night of the Living Dummy II. You picked up a copy from the Scholastic Book Fair years ago, and promptly hid the copy in a dresser behind lock & key. Somehow you knew it had the potential to haunt you like the immortal furby still speaking in tongue without batteries in your underwear drawer. You’ve slapped yourself silly with Slappy into a R.L. Stine fugue state and need some Fizzy to get out.

Reaching for any kind of comfort you look over to your bedside table and see the familiar Alyssa Ashley bottle next to your sparkly Pringle holder. You meagerly nibble the remaining potato dust at the bottom and start to feel less afraid. You’re slowly becoming the kind of woman Fizzy told you you were. I.e. the woman of today who loves life, is full of joy of living, non-conformist, curious, creative, fascinating, loves entertaining, tropical fragrances, vast spaces and a natural environment. You’re the kind of cool girl that can handle reading about a maniacal ventriloquist dummy and laugh it off effortlessly with a certain joie de vivre. When you spray this juicy juice you are girly and carefree.

Top notes are bergamot and coriander; middle notes are jasmine, ylang-ylang, geranium and lily-of-the-valley; base notes are vanilla, benzoin and musk. In real life you’ll smell fizzy but not fussy. So free and easy you don’t notice your closet door slowly creeping open.
